Most people assume that coaches have always been fit, confident, and pain-free. That’s not my story.
I’ve struggled with my body and confidence since I was a kid. And when I injured my lower back at 16, things got worse. I spent years avoiding movement, feeling stuck, and believing I’d never feel strong or capable in my own body.
At 20, I finally decided to change. Like many, I started with the wrong approach; extreme dieting and quick fixes. But what actually changed my life wasn’t restriction. It was movement.
I found the gym. And more importantly, I found purpose. I became obsessed with understanding how the body works and how we can rebuild from pain and move with confidence again. That passion led me to coaching.
Now, with nearly a decade of experience and education in movement, injury recovery, and performance, I help people just like you train through pain, not avoid it.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, self-trust, and building a body you can rely on.
You’re not broken. You just need the right plan and the right coach in your corner.

Working out with Gerardo is very motivating. When we finish I feel strong and energized. I had previously worked with a trainer that injured my shoulder and set back my health and fitness goals. But once I found Gerardo everything changed. He made sure to focus on working slow and helped me build a solid foundation to prevent injuries. This was great because I ended up needing a hip replacement. We worked for months to strengthen my body to bounce back from the surgery. It’s been a short time since my surgery and i’m back to doing lunges and moving like I did before. He knows so much yet always works to improve and learn more.
